If you’re thinking about a day out in the Fethiye region that mixes adventure, natural beauty, and a touch of local history, this Jeep Safari tour might catch your eye. It promises a lively experience packed with stops at waterfalls, scenic canyons, ancient ruins, and even a mud bath. We’ve looked into what travelers are saying, and here’s the scoop on what makes this trip worth considering—and what to keep in mind.

First, the variety of stops keeps the day interesting—from the cascading Gizlikent Waterfall to the exhilarating Saklikent Canyon. Second, the knowledgeable guides and the overall organization seem to make it a smooth experience, with many reviewers praising the friendly staff and well-planned itinerary.

It’s a long, active day, often around 8 hours, which might be tiring for some, especially if you’re not into lots of walking or water-based activities. Also, you’ll get pretty soaked during the water fights, so packing waterproof gear or waterproof bags for valuables is a must.

Loads of laughs and definitely lots of water 😅 Get ready to get absolutely soaked! I did the zip lining and the river rafting which was absolutely great. Highly recommended!!

Scenic Drive and First Stop: Yakapark and Gizlikent Waterfall
The tour kicks off with a scenic drive through lush mountain landscapes, giving you your first taste of the region’s natural beauty. The highlight here is the Gizlikent Waterfall, which impresses with its cascading waters and cool, inviting pools. Travelers rave about the refreshing experience—”absolutely worth it and so refreshing,” as one review puts it. To reach the waterfall, expect to walk down around 200 steps and wade through calf-deep water, so good footwear like water shoes is recommended, which they often sell at the meeting point.
Many reviewers mention that the waterfall stop is a genuine highlight. The chance to take photos, dip your toes, and just enjoy nature makes it a relaxing break amidst the adventure. It’s perfect for those wanting a quick nature fix, and some opt to pay extra for the zipline, which adds a thrill factor.
The Excitement Builds at Saklikent Canyon
Next, you’ll head to Saklikent National Park, one of Turkey’s longest canyons and the second longest in Europe. Stretching over 18 kilometers and reaching heights of 300 meters, it’s a jaw-dropping natural formation. Here, you’ll have plenty of time—about 50-60 minutes—to walk through the gorge, wade in icy waters, and soak in the wild scenery.
Reviews often mention the invigorating cold waters, especially on hot days. The canyon’s sheer walls and winding waters make it an exciting spot for exploration, and the guided walk adds some context to what you’re seeing. The free time is appreciated, giving you a chance to capture photos and just enjoy the setting.
We booked two days before trip, wanted to have some activities and found on GYG this activity. It was awesome day! We were picked up 20 min later and brought tonthe location were we joined another groups. On this location you can rent water pistols and buy water shoes. After reading reviews we thougjt not to join water pistol battle but you cannot escape ot and this is needed is such a hot weather.! That was fun! There were planned different activities – waterfall, zipline, lunch, rafting, gorge and mud bath. Zip line and rafting were cool, we paid 40€ for two ppl two activities. Worth of money. Waterfall walk was nothing special, bus because its in kinda forest, you feel nice and fresh. F…
Great day trip with lots of things to do. We would recommend you bring your own water pistols, water shoes and waterproof phone case or you will be paying a lot extra. The water fights in the jeeps was very fun and a good idea. The zipwire and the rafting was £18 per person, which was a very good price for what you got. The food provided was excellent, and you could pick between chicken and fish. The drinks were not included but they were at a reasonable price. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a good day out.
it was good, prepared to get very wet multiple times, you can hire a water blaster for 300 lira, they also offer watershoes for the waterfall but you can hire them cheaper there although id recommend watershoes for most of the trip so get your own before travelling. the gorge the water is freezing so be prepared, extra activities vary in price we did the river rafting a lot of fun 500 lira each and the entry to the gorge was 65 adult and 35 child, definitely worth it. overall a fantastic trip food was also good, the mudbath seemed to be great for most people but just be careful getting in, I slipped and cut my foot quite badly , the showers after are also cold. the guide was fantastic and ve…
