If you’re dreaming of exploring Ireland’s west coast without the hassle of planning every twist and turn, this eBike tour from Gormú offers a compelling way to see the area. While I haven’t personally taken this exact trip, I’ve read plenty of reviews and gathered the details to give you a well-rounded picture.

It’s a nearly all on bóithríní — those narrow, winding country lanes typical of rural Ireland — making it perfect for anyone who loves scenic, off-the-beaten-path rides.

What really sets this tour apart is how it combines natural beauty with stories and history, all delivered by knowledgeable guides. The second thing we love? The fancy eBikes that make tackling those steep hills feel surprisingly easy. On the flip side, a potential consideration is the physical aspect — you’ll want a moderate level of fitness because it covers around 40 kilometers over roughly four hours.

What an adventure we had with Celine! This was an excellent way to see the nooks and crannies of beautiful Leap, Ireland. Celine was an amazing host, filling us in on stories from the past as we rode through trails and hills for four hours. Our teenage sons loved their first e-bike tour and had no problem getting used to the bikes. You do need to have a good level of fitness as the hills can be a bit strenuous at times, even with the e-bike. I highly recommend this experience. It was absolutely amazing, and we are still talking about it!

Connor was extremely knowledgeable and personable, we had a wonderful experience! I would for sure recommend this tour to anyone coming to Ireland!
