Fantastic day with our guide David. The pick up point was 5 minutes from our port location and he was very friendly and relaxed. He was also very informative and knowledgeable about Slovenia and the sites on the drives to and from Koper, pointing out landmarks or features of the landscape. The caves are amazing as was the castle, and both sites very interesting to see and explore. On our way back to Koper, David was able to drop us back near our port and show us some of the sights during the drive.
This trip and our guide were both good. Only suggestion is to find a better meeting place. Also, our guide was not wearing a yellow shirt which were in the instructions. We had a really hard time finding him. To his credit, he did call a couple that was really late because they could not find him either. My suggestion would be to give us the guide’s name and contact information so that we can text him prior to the meeting place.
