Imagine gliding gently along the Tagus River on a charming vintage sailboat, as the soft glow of sunset lights up Lisbon’s skyline. That’s exactly the kind of experience this tour offers—an opportunity to see some of the city’s most iconic sights from a different vantage point, all while enjoying tasty Portuguese snacks and a glass of wine.

We’ve looked into this trip, and it’s clear that many travelers leave feeling enchanted, relaxed, and with plenty of great photos to remember the moment.

What makes this experience especially appealing? First, the guides who share stories about Lisbon’s landmarks, adding depth to the views. Second, the stunning, unobstructed vistas of the river and city, which are often described as mesmerizing. But, of course, there’s a small catch: the meeting point can sometimes be tricky to find, so arriving prepared with directions or a ride helps.

We did this trip already two years ago and had to come back to meet this cute couple and their nice boat to do a sunset sailing trip! One of the best recommendations to have a highlight in Lissabon, see some sights, enjoy the golden hour with some snacks and local wine! We will tell all our friends to join you and us the next time! All the best!!

You can’t pass up a sunset cruise in Lisbon. It’s magical. Eduardo’s boat was intimate and he was an attentive host. It was a relaxed vibe, with plenty of drinks, small bites, and stunning views. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR.
Joann
Eduardo and Colletta were charming hosts, providing perfect commentary, informative but not intrusive. The wine, charcuterie and blankets perfected the experience
Jodi
While we had a bumpy start. Be aware to look at your messages from the captain because the meeting point can change and they are a 10 minute walk between them. With that said our captain Eduardo was great. The sail was well worth the money. Total of 6 couples were on our tour. Plenty of room for all of us. Not a bad seat on the boat. Sunset cruise was perfect with wine flowing and a nice snack of meat and cheeses served by the first mate. Eduardo explained monuments around the city clearly. I highly recommend.

The highlight for many is the sunset—a magical time when the light softens, and the city’s skyline glows. Many reviews highlight how serene and beautiful this moment is, especially with a glass of Portuguese wine or rosé in hand. The small snacks (or petiscos) are a lovely touch—cheese, meats, and finger foods that complement the drinks without feeling heavy.

The guide’s commentary continues as you pass the Christ the King statue, which is visible from the boat and offers dramatic photo ops. The cruise lasts about 2 hours, which feels just right—long enough to soak in the views without it dragging on.
