Fun, challenging, & beautiful adventure. Celebrated my dad’s 60th birthday by hiking, swimming, and cliff jumping!
It was an awesome day! The guides were amazing and the canyon was spectacular. Such a fun day and a must do from Split.
The whole trip/tour was amazing, hiking, climbing, dive, jump, walk, swimm slide, etc etc. I was alone with an American friend and our guide. He was really amazing explaining and guiding us through the mountain and river. Luckily I Made a lot of photos and films with my camera, but at home they are not going to believe I did the extreme tour. So climbed down the wire of 55 mtr’s of height. And jumped of Clives 9 mtr above water.
That said, a potential consideration is the physical effort involved; you’ll be swimming, climbing, and hiking, which might not suit everyone.
This tour is best suited for those who enjoy outdoor pursuits, aren’t afraid of heights or water, and are looking for a memorable, active day. It’s great for thrill-seekers and nature lovers alike, but maybe not for travelers with limited mobility or those who prefer more relaxed sightseeing.

Canyoning on the Cetina River is essentially a mix of hiking, swimming, climbing, and jumping through a narrow, gorge-like landscape carved out by the water. It’s a hands-on way to see Croatia’s rugged beauty up close, with the thrill of navigating through crystal-clear pools and rapids.
This particular tour from Split lasts about six hours, providing ample time to enjoy the highlights without feeling rushed. What’s appealing is how the experience is carefully structured to keep everyone safe while still delivering adrenaline and awe. The guides walk you through each step, ensuring you understand safety procedures, which gives confidence even to first-timers.
Super fun event! It requires medium Level hiking skills since you will be going down steep trails and the terrain is very rough. It is doable tho for anyone who has not done canyoning before. Staff was great -Shout out to Antonia and Boris! For being great tour guides. They walked participants through the process/logistics and share some fun facts along the way. I’m totally doing this again if I go back to Split!
Fantastic day experiencing all canyoning has to offer. Experienced and friendly guides with good equipment. Quite a bit of hiking/scrambling on rocks etc but it was ok as guides helped you navigate this. Make sure to hydrate well and eat a big breakfast as there are quite a few hours without either during the trip
This tour was amazing! Recommend to anyone traveling to Croatia. I will say this experience was a little scary though. There are several moments where you are climbing high up and down the canyon with little to hold on to. So if you are afraid of heights, definitely not for you. However, if you are for an adrenaline rush, this is a must do.

Nice experience and amazing canyon to enjoy. Well arranged and with reliable chaperones that guided us
My family of 4 did this tour and had the best time. We all rated it one of our favorite things we did on vacation!
We walked through the canyons in 60s degree water for 3 hours. We repelled 55 m(180 ft) and some jumped off 9 m ( 30ft) cliff. I had to repel ( liked it) but didn’t jump. Beautiful surroundings! Well organized descend with ropes to the bottom of the river. Guides were amazing! Felt safe and ‘watched’ over by our guides. Equipment was solid and good quality. Fantastic experience!
Visiting Velika Gubavica
One of the absolute highlights is reaching Velika Gubavica, a 50-meter waterfall. It’s a perfect photo opportunity and a chance to pause and appreciate the power of nature. Many reviews mention how impressive this waterfall is and how it adds a memorable touch to the day.
Swimming and Cliff Jumping Breaks
Throughout the tour, there are designated spots for swimming and cliff jumping, giving you options to challenge yourself or just relax in the water. The most daring can jump from heights up to 9 meters, but there’s always a safer, easier route if you prefer to stay closer to the water.
End of the Day
After a few hours of activity, a driver will pick you up to return to Split. Most travelers agree that the day leaves you tired but exhilarated, with plenty of stories to tell.

It was relly good. I recommend this adventure to other travellers. The thing I like most of all is that the tour considers different levels of physical abilities. For instance, if you're not going to jump from the 5-meter rock, you can walk around. Do not forget to prepare a towel, an extra t-shirt, and sneakers in addition to your flip-flops. In case you want to film the trip, you need a GoPro camera or something waterproof. Be ready, the whole tour will take about 7 hours.
