If you’re visiting Croatia and looking for a way to experience some of its most breathtaking natural sights, the Krka Waterfalls Day Tour from Split or Trogir might be on your radar. While we haven’t personally taken this trip, the reviews and details paint a clear picture of what to expect. It’s a popular choice for those wanting a balanced day of nature, relaxation, and some local exploration.
What immediately catches your eye about this tour is its affordable price—around $32 per person—which offers good value considering the sights you’ll see. Plus, the mix of hiking, scenic boat rides, and free time sounds like a great way to soak in Croatia’s natural beauty without feeling rushed.
However, a potential consideration is the cash fee for park entry (around 30 EUR), which is not included in the upfront cost. That’s something to keep in mind so you’re prepared.
We had Dario as our tour guide and he was great just as previous reviews said. The meeting point was easily found in Trogir and the woman welcoming you was very kind. The park was lovely but quite chilly because of the wind. The tour was very detailed so we knew what to expect. Dario did a wonderfull job explaining everything and providing you with all the necessary information before you were free to walk around the national park. Absolutely worth the money and would recommend this as it's a beautiful park.
From start to finish the whole day was amazing. Dario was hilarious, interactive and very knowledgeable – the day wouldn’t have been the same without him. We were able to enjoy the bus ride from Split and meet new people on the way. We were able to explore the waterfalls by ourselves and all instructions from Dario about the running of the day and meeting points etc were clear and very helpful. We had the opportunity to join the wine tasting part of the tour as we didn’t book this originally. The whole experience was incredible and great value for money. I would definitely recommend and book this experience again myself!
Very nice excursion, amazing experience Thanks to the driver Johnny and to our guide Dario, he was well organised, provided on whatsapp all the info about the trip so everything was clear and easy. The krk park was very nice – fresh air, nice views and the small town skradin – port, beach, good food and wine.
This tour seems best suited for travelers who want a straightforward, well-organized day out with a friendly vibe, and who enjoy a mix of guided and self-guided exploration. It’s especially appealing if you’re into scenic landscapes, easy walkways, and the chance to relax in a beautiful setting.

Dario our guide and Jhonny&Davor our drivers were an amazing team. I find the price was well worth the tips and tricks Dario gave us. Nice mix of nature/walking and relaxing by the beach after.
Perfect timings! Having a WhatsApp group with all locations marked and timings highlighted was amazing idea! Thanks to our guide Darijo! Also thanks to the driver Baky who takes us by the most spectacular road with the best views!
Was a lovely day trip even during a heatwave . Our guide Dario was brilliant. He interacted with everyone on the bus (driven by Johnny) finding out where everyone was from. Explained that he would get off the bus to get all the tickets and then when to show them. He also added us to a what’s app group with all the information we needed – brilliant idea.Started off the tour and after Dario reminded everyone the time the boat he was catching to Skradin we all went on our way. We took the boat to Skradin and spent the rest of the time looking around the town and going to the beach. We were greeted back at the bus and when we reached back in Trogir we weren’t rushed off the bus – Dario made …
As many reviews point out, guides are knowledgeable, sharing interesting tidbits about the flora, fauna, and Croatian conservation efforts, making the experience more meaningful.
