I din't think I could make pasta. I made Ravioli. Had a lot of fun cooking. What also helped is that we had a good crowd. About 19 people, all pleasant.

We really enjoyed it! Great instructors, nice to have water, wine, and soda provided. We learned a lot. Only note: we wish we would have gotten to eat the pasta we made ourselves. Instead, the entire class’s pasta got combined and we were served a mix of pasta. I would have liked to have mine.

Loved it! Although, I would recommend maybe an initial activity to break the ice among all the participants. We all come from different countries and cultures so maybe doing that would make the environment a bit less awkward at the beginning.

This is the second time I have taken a class at this particular cooking school and the second was just as good as the first! Easy to find, follow and enjoy! Meet new people, sip some wine, and learn a new skill. Very hands on. Last time recipes were emailed to the class and this time there was a qr code-which I lost with spotty internet so I wish there was a way to get the recipes for pastas and gelato. I will be back for a pizza class next time I'm in Milan. Mateo was excellent! And the gentleman helping him prep and clean was terrific too!

It was way more informative and fun than we thought it was going to be. We all learned a lot about making pasta.
Jonathan E
It was absolutely phenomenal! Our chef was fantastic, welcoming, knowledgeable, and engaging. He encouraged us to ask questions and even invited volunteers during the demonstrations, which made the experience more interactive. The only small downside was that the group felt a bit reserved, despite the chef’s efforts to keep things lively and fun. Overall, it was informative, enjoyable, and the food was exceptional and don’t even get me started on the gelato… absolutely delicious!

The instructor demonstrates traditional techniques—rolling, cutting, filling—and offers personal feedback to ensure everyone gets it right. The small group size means no one is left behind, and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

Reviewers praise the instructor’s expertise: “Fabrizio was an excellent chef, with good information tips & lots of fun,” says wendy_F. We loved how approachable and encouraging the teaching style was, making it easier for beginners or those with some cooking experience to get involved.

Gelato Masterclass

Next up is the gelato-making demonstration. This isn’t just a show; it’s a mini-lesson where you learn about natural flavors and freezing techniques. Watching the chef craft gelato from simple ingredients makes it clear how easy it can be to create authentic Italian desserts at home.

The Feast and Wine Pairing

Once all the dishes are ready, it’s time to eat. The class includes a lunch where you’ll savor your homemade pasta and sauces. Plus, two glasses of wine are included—soft drinks are available for children or non-drinkers. Many reviews love the quality and variety of the wines paired with the food, making the meal feel special and celebratory.

Alfredo was very clear and precise with his instructions! He also made the class enjoyable with jokes and volunteers, plenty of wine! If I had one remark for them to build on is, for everyone to have the chance to eat their OWN pasta that they made. It is understandable for time and efficiency reasons why it can’t be done but overall it’s an experience we won’t forget and was the best pasta eaten during our stay in Italy.
Matt F
Chef Matteo was welcoming, amusing, and informative throughout the class. Making two kinds of pasta and watching the Gelato & sauces being made was a delight for the sense of smell. The meal we created was delicious! You come away with the recipes and knowledge to create your own at home. Definitely a worthwhile experience!
Carole K
The best tour we took on our trip! The chefs were fantastic. We learned so much and it was absolutely delicious! We already came back to US and made the pasta and recipes! We loved the facilities they were so clean! And very easy to get to! Alfredo was absolutely fabulous! He made it very fun!! And we had 10 of us including 4 children! He was great with the kids too!

Wonderful experience- Convenient location (above the Mercato Centrale) The cook/cooking instructor Fabrizio was informative, fun, calm/patient and a great teacher! We learned to make 2 types of ravioli shapes and tagliatelle. & vanilla gelato! Seasonal recipe using radicchio for the pest sauce was very interesting and had great flavor. Truly worth the experience and highly recommended!! We love to visit Italy so we will definitely consider another class in the future.

My brother missed his flight so I found this your last minutes on Viator to do solo while in Milan. It turned out to be such a great way to start my trip. Not only because I learned how to make pasta and gelato, but because Chef Matteo provided great knowledge and recommendations as well. I went to a couple of the restaurants he recommended at the end of class and they were amazing. It was also nice getting to know the people in the class with me. They were also super friendly and Chef made the class interactive and fun. And to top it off of course the food was delicious and the drinks were great as well. Grazie a Mille!
Jared R
Amazing experience. The instructor was so passionate about pasta and it was honestly some of the best food we had on our travels. I highly recommend this to learn how to make pasta.
