Our tour guide Miro was absolutely excellent. We were traveling with my young children, ages 6 & 8 and my parents in their 70's- and we all had a wonderful time! We did not feel rushed and thoroughly enjoyed our day. Highly recommend!!
Joanne H
This is a totally customizable experience. Spent as much time as you want in the park, wine taste or visit another city. This is the perfect tour for those who want to set their own itinerary and have a local to guide them.
Jennifer C
Our day couldn’t have been better! Our driver/guide was wonderful- knowledgeable and friendly. Adding the Bibich Winery to our itinerary was perfect and our stop in Trogir was an added delight.

Plus, the option to include some of Croatia’s charming nearby towns or wineries makes this experience adaptable for different interests.

That said, one thing to keep in mind is the additional cost for park tickets, wine tastings, and other extras—these aren’t included in the base price. So, if you’re on a tight budget, it’s worth planning for these costs ahead of time.

This tour seems best suited for travelers who appreciate having control over their day, value comfort, and want to explore with a local guide who can tailor the experience.

Had a fantastic day exploring the park. Sasha was a great driver. Would definitely recommend. Spectacular views
Allyson H
Sasha was our driver and navigator for the day, and he tailored everything perfectly for our family with kids ages 6 through 10. The waterfalls were stunning, and the walk was beautiful and just the right length. He brought us to a charming local winery we loved and ended the day at a gorgeous beach—we enjoyed it so much we returned the next day. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful!!! A must to see if your visit split. Having a private tour made all the difference as our driver could take us straight into the reserve rather than at the main entrance where you then had to wait for a bus to take you down to the entrance. The winery stop after at RAK was incredible. Our driver was accommodating and so friendly, so a big thank you to Patrik!!!! Great guy

The key feature here is customization—you decide which stops to include, whether it’s exploring Krka Waterfalls, tasting wines, or visiting historic towns.

Visiting Krka National Park

Your main reason for the trip is the stunning Krka Waterfalls, and this tour offers two options for your arrival: you can choose to be dropped at the Skradin entrance, where a ferry takes you right into the park’s heart, or at the Lozovac entrance, which is closer to the waterfalls themselves.

Most reviews suggest the best option is to be dropped off at Skradin and picked up at Lozovac to optimize your time and experience.

Once inside, you’ll have about 4 hours to explore at your own pace. Expect plenty of opportunities for photos, gentle walks, and soaking in the scenery. While tickets for the park are not included, the flexibility means you can decide how long to linger, whether to take photos, or enjoy some quiet moments by the waterfalls.

Amy H
We had a great time with our guide/driver, Sasha. I would recommend taking the boat to Skradin after you’re done touring the falls. Then lunch in Skradin and the driver will meet you up there. We then went to the Rak Winery and enjoyed a selection of wines and snacks. It was a fun day of learning about Croatia. Sasha was so great we also booked our transport back to Dubrovnik with him!
Rose H
Nice relaxing hike through the Krka National Park with a beautiful view of the waterfalls. Finished the tour with a ferry ride to Skradin where we walked through the town and had lunch. Unfortunately, our guide was very quiet and provided little information.
Lee P
Excellent communication through the booking process with very clear instructions. The Waterfalls are stunning, although we were disappointed to hear you are unable to swim any more in the waterfalls, no one told us this even though the marketing photos clearly show this. We had a nice lunch in Skragin followed by a swim in the lake.

Visitors have praised the stunning beauty of the falls and the ease of access, noting that a boat ride from Skradin adds an extra element of fun.

Optional Side Trips

One of the biggest selling points of this tour is its flexibility to include optional side excursions. For a small fee—ranging from about 6 to 17 euros—you can sign up for wine tastings at renowned Croatian wineries like Bibich or Rak. Reviews highlight these as memorable experiences, with travelers appreciating the personalized approach to wine tasting and the chance to learn about local varietals.

Alternatively, you can opt for cultural stops like Sibenik’s UNESCO-listed Cathedral of St. James or enjoy a brief exploration of Trogir’s historic old town. Your driver will drop you off close to these sites, and you’ll have about an hour and a half of free time at each, giving you a taste of local life and history without feeling rushed.

The Town of Trogir and Sibenik

In Sibenik, the highlight is the Cathedral of St. James, a UNESCO site that’s worth a quick visit. Many reviews mention how local drivers are helpful in giving tips and making the most of your limited time. Trogir, with its charming streets and Kamerlengo Fortress, offers about 1.5 hours of free exploration.

This was one of the most glorious ways to spend a birthday… Our driver Sasha was amazing and we had a wonderful time hiking through the waterfalls and then took a hike to a small beach and he took us to a great village on the water… Great shopping great lunch great day
Andrew C
Trip out of Split to visit waterfalls and the fishing port of Trogir. Ivan our guide for the day was very entertaining with views on everything from football, to politics, to a love of UK sitcoms! Made the car journey very memorable
Naznin P
We had a private tour and enjoyed every minute of this tour. This was our first experience of Croatia and this tour made our experience absolutely a delight thank you

Travelers have enjoyed walking around this UNESCO-protected gem, appreciating its narrow streets, cafes, and picturesque views.

Wine Tastings and Vineyards

If you’re a wine lover, the inclusion of Rak Winery offers a more intimate, authentic tasting experience. Reviewers mention that the winery provides an interesting and individual approach to tasting, making the visit memorable. Expect to sample authentic Croatian wines, with fees depending on how many wines you wish to try.

Benefits of the Private, Customized Approach

This tour’s private nature is a major plus. As several reviewers noted, it allows for a more relaxed experience—no rushing to keep up with a big group, and the driver can adapt to your needs. For example, if you want to skip a planned stop or spend more time somewhere, it’s easy to do.

Details of the Itinerary

The main attraction—Krka Waterfalls—is a natural spectacle that’s often described as breathtaking. The walks around the waterfalls are enjoyable and accessible, with many reviewers mentioning they found it to be the perfect length and not overly strenuous. One traveler shared that the waterfalls were “stunning,” which echoes what many visitors observe.

John B
Sasha was a good driver and conversationalist. He helped us with all of our questions at Krka National Park.
Nancy V
Krka Falls is a beautiful park and we enjoyed it very much. Our driver answered our questions, but did not share any information unless we asked. The experience could have been much better if the driver shared information about the country, the people, the points of interest. The 4 of us agreed it could have been a great tour if the driver shared more interesting info.
Rinat O
We booked the tour for our cruise stop in Split. Ivan was a great communicator. Ante, our driver, met us on time with his spacious car and drove us to Krka National Park. It was raining heavily and Ante suggested we go to a nearby winery and try and wait out the rain. We had a great time at Rak Winery – did some wine tasting and had nice cheese and prosciutto platters. When we finished, the rain had stopped and the sun came out! Ante drove us back to the park and we had a great hike to the waterfalls. Ante really saved our day and he was so kind with my disabled father – took my parents to a nice cafe where they waited for us to do the park hike. I highly recommend this company!

The optional ferry ride from Skradin adds to the experience, offering a breezy boat trip that’s often highlighted as a lovely way to see more of the park’s natural beauty. However, keep in mind that admission tickets to the park are not included, so you’ll need to budget around 20-25 euros for entry, depending on the season.

The side trips to Sibenik or Trogir are brief but rewarding. For Sibenik, the cathedral is under UNESCO protection and worth a quick visit if you’re interested in architecture or history. Trogir’s old town, with its historic fortress, is charming and great for a leisurely walk or a quick bite. The wineries, like Bibich and Rak, provide a taste of Croatian culture and hospitality.
