wow 😲. the ride to Dubrovnik alone was worth it. So beautiful ❤️. and Ivanka was so nice and she was passionate about her country and tells everything you need and want to hear. Angel our driver was also nice. the bus was good. I highly recommend!
The whole day was great. Peter was a great guide and Angel was a safe and careful driver. The time split of guided tour and free time was spot on. Dubrovnik is stunning and the view from the walls is wonderful but 40 Euro is pricey. Be aware, there are a lot of steps some of them very steep. Prices in Dubrovnk are very high. Even a burger or pizza is pushing 20 Euro. So pleased I had a big breakfast and had a bag of goodies from the bakery. Long day but very pleased I chose this tour. Also be ready physically
Trusted company to use & App easy to navigate kept me upto date with any updates. All the information for any help and communication within the app and local excursions /staff bookings made were very helpful.

The Guided Walking Tour of Dubrovnik
As you step into the medieval heart of Dubrovnik, you’ll walk along Stradun, the main street, lined with shops, cafes, and historic landmarks. Your guide will point out the Orlando’s Column, a symbol of the city’s independence, and share stories about the Sponza Palace and Rectors Palace—buildings that showcase Renaissance and Baroque influences.
Many reviews praise the guides, like Krystle’s comment: “Tin was our guide and was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about all things Croatia.” This kind of insight makes a walk through the city more meaningful. You’ll learn about the city’s fortifications, which have stood for centuries, and discover little hidden gems tucked between the main streets.
Walking Along the City Walls
One of the most memorable parts of the trip is walking along Dubrovnik’s famous city walls. These ramparts offer sweeping views of the sea and the terracotta rooftops below. Keep in mind that the walls are a popular attraction, so they can be crowded during peak times, which might affect your experience.
The trip was amazing our guide was great the driver was as well , the only issue is the comfort of the vehicle it is a long ride for the seats not to recline or have a place to put feet up. But other than that amazing ,
the city was great and our guide petar too. What should be included in the price is the food stop on the way back
Tin was our guide and was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about all things Croatia on the way to Dubrovnik. He also provided recommendations for things to do in Split. We took his recommendation to Bokeria and it was amazing. Highly recommend.
Climbing Srd Mountain for Panoramic Views
After exploring the city, many choose to climb up to Srd Mountain, which offers arguably the best view of the Dubrovnik coastline and the surrounding islands. The ascent is optional but highly recommended for those wanting that perfect photo or just a moment to take in the scenery.
More Great Tours NearbyFree Time for Personal Exploration
Once the guided part ends, you get quite a bit of free time—often around a couple of hours—to wander on your own. This allows you to visit local shops, try Croatian food, or even take a quick swim at a nearby beach if you’re feeling adventurous. Some reviews mention that adding a stop for local food would make the experience even better, so plan accordingly.

Optional Add-Ons and Tips
If you’re interested, you can choose to enter Dubrovnik’s fortress walls at an additional cost, though the tour price doesn’t include this. Also, be prepared for a longer day, especially if you plan to climb up to Srd Mountain, as it adds to the overall duration.
The Good and the Not-So-Good

The positives are clear: with a guided tour, you get expert insights, a comfortable ride, and the freedom to explore afterward.
Went on a day trip from Split to Dubrovnik. Our guide Petar planned the trip brilliantly and gave us a really interesting tour. He was attentive and answered any questions. Micky our driver was great at getting us there and back on time. It was a fantastic day!
Very informative guide enhanced the beautiful city. Pleased we picked a day when no cruise ships were in port.
The trip to Mostar and the Kravice waterfalls was very good it would have been even better to have been able to spend more time at the waterfall. Ella was great and humorous and made it a memorable day out for us
Many travelers, like Tim, mention how engaging their guides made the trip: “Very informative guide enhanced the beautiful city.” The views from the walls and Srd Mountain are repeatedly highlighted, and the overall tour price is seen as reasonable considering the transportation and guide included.
The downsides include the lengthy bus ride, which can be tiring, especially if you’re not a fan of long drives. Jessica pointed out, “the comfort of the vehicle it is a long ride for the seats not to recline or have a place to put feet up,” so keep that in mind if you’re sensitive to travel comfort.
Also, as the tour covers only a portion of Dubrovnik, those wanting a deep dive into every corner might find it a bit rushed.
Reviews also hint at minor conveniences—like the absence of included food—that could enhance the experience. Some travelers mentioned that a planned food stop or more organized free-time activities would be beneficial, but overall, most found the balance worked well.
Our guide, Ivanka, was the best. True hospitality expert.
Views along the way were exceptional. Tour guide full of usefull information. Dubrovnik. Not a large city but well-taken care of. The fortress wall is a little expensive but not taken and you will miss Dubrovniks best feature. Nice stops on the way back.
Ivanka and the driver were great, we got to all our destinations on time safely. When we arrived at Dubrovnik we had a tour of the city and free time after to explore the city. Overall a great experience.
Is This Tour Worth It?

For $79, this tour offers a streamlined way to experience Dubrovnik’s highlights without the headache of planning logistics yourself. You’ll get a guided walk, some of the city’s best views, and free time to make the most of your visit. It’s especially good for travelers with limited time or those who prefer the comfort of organized transportation and a guide.
If you’re a history buff, enjoy scenic viewpoints, or simply want a hassle-free day trip, this experience will serve you well. Keep in mind that it’s not suited for those requiring wheelchair access, and the long ride may not be ideal for very young children or travelers sensitive to extended bus trips.
