Aryan Island Biking adventure- must go with Phil
We enjoyed this adventure! We biked around the island, stopping at historical sites along the way including a shipwreck, castle and old ritual site/ cemetery. Phil was our guide, and was super knowledgeable about the islands history, current residents. It really wouldn’t have been fun without his humor, expertise and stories! We also met a super nice restaurant owner who provided the best homemade scones and tea were have ever had! It was all part of the tour and so delicious! Highly recommend!

Ollie, our driver, made…
Ollie, our driver, made the ride to and from the Aran Islands ferry a fun time. Our biking guide, Owen, was so friendly and personable. He gave us a great experience on our tour of the sights! We encountered some heavy rain and it was still a memorable outing. The stop for tea and scones was a pleasant addition to our excursion. We rode the standard bikes. E-bikes are really not necessary. Personally, we would not have felt safe with them, especially in rain since the pathways were not smooth. For the longer steeper inclines everyone walked. The tour length was only a couple of hilly miles.

What an awesome experience. In spite of the very windy and rainy conditions (It’s Ireland after all) we had a great trip. Our guide Phil did an amazing job. He’s very knowledgeable, engaging and humorous. He helped make our day memorable and fun. The island has such great history and incredible views of the Irish coastline. Definitely worth the trip…..rain or shine.

Loved this tour!!! A must-do if you are in Galway.
This tour was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland! From the moment we boarded the boat at Doolin Pier, everything was smooth, scenic, and full of charm. A big thank you to our amazing guide Philip – and his trainee Sean(? very friendly read head). Philip was not only a guide, but a historian and photographer! He was very kind when we asked to stop to take photos and was happy to share stories of folklore, history, and music. I'm very happy he didn't mind my numerous questions while I sat in the front seat. The day was not only fun with beautiful sites, but also informative. The short 25-minute ferry ride to Inisheer was beautiful, a bit bumpy but getting wet is part of the fu…
