10 useful things to say in Dutch

April 25, 2016 by Gretta Schifano 4 Comments

I’m stepping out of my comfort zone with this language printable: 10 useful things to say in Dutch.

I’ve already published Italian, French and Spanish versions (see links below), but that was quite easy because I’ve studied each of those languages, to varying degrees. I’ve never studied Dutch, but on our recent trip to Holland (read here about our accommodation at Duinrell holiday park) we tried to learn a few words of the local language.

My sister and I used Google translate to work out the Dutch for the 10 useful things to say which are included on my language sheets, and then I checked the spelling and pronunciation with one of the Duinrell receptionists in Holland. So I think that the Dutch words and phrases should be correct, but if you’re fluent in Dutch and you spot a mistake, please do tell me so that I can correct it.

This is what the Dutch language sheet looks like:
